This halter has all the features of our Dress English Halter with double-ply, double buckle crown, triple stitched nose and rolled throat with the added benefit of a throat snap (you can opt out of snap on throat). Choose either dark brown or black leather for the halter color and then choose from a variety of stylish padding colors to accent your horses good looks. The halters are strapped from high quality U.S. steer hides and hand rubbed to create a stylish, handsome finish. Our padded leather halters are available in Yearling/Cob, Two-Year Old/Small Horse, Broodmare/Full and Large Broodmare/Warmblood sizes. Halters can be built with stainless steel hardware or solid brass, your choice. Each halter can be customized with a brass or silver engraved nameplate. Pictured in black leather with sky blue padding leather and solid brass hardware. You can also choose to add on a Fancy Stiched Crown to any of these halters. It is shown in White/White in the other pictures.

Please note: Choice of hardware color (Brass,Stainless) defaults your choice of name plate to the same type. If you want silver hardware but a brass plate or opposite, please be sure to leave a note at checkout or call the store.

Custom Engraving

Our custom engraving gives you the opportunity to create a unique, yet personalized name plate or identification plaque. Custom engraved plates not only make great additions to your custom leather goods such as Kentucky Horseman Belts, dog collars and halters, but they are also perfect for many different applications and projects around the house or barn. You may find these plates useful in labeling your tack room saddle racks, supply shelves, identifying unique plants in your garden or adorning doors,  a framed photo, certificate or piece of art. We have also created many plates for commemorative purposes. They make great gifts for horse enthusiasts' birthdays, graduations, weddings and anniversaries too. The uses of our plates are only bound by the limits of your creativity! With all the choices of plate size and style of engraving, our custom engraved plates are sure to meet your equine-related and even creative needs.

The process starts with choosing the size and type of name plate you need. You may choose from a solid brass or, if you prefer a silver finish, a nickel-plated brass plate. Our high quality plates are not your bargain basement, paper thin metal plates, rather they are thick, sturdy and made to withstand even the toughest application. The first line of engraving is included in the price of the plates, with an additional line of text available for a small fee. Once you've chosen the type of plate and size you need, you can choose from three styles of character font (Standard, Victoria and Minion font). You may also decide to include a stock logo or have us engrave your custom logo for a truly unique piece. Please note the fees and guidelines associated with logo engraving upon selection. Once you have determined what your plate will look like, we'll do the rest!

While we tried to do our best to detail the leather goods each plate is used for, we realize that knowing the plate size you need for all your leather products or projects can often be overwhelming. If you are unsure of what size you may need, feel free to give us a call at 859-299-8225. We're here to make sure the end result will meet your expectations. We are more than happy to assist you in this process and look forward to working with you!
