Neigh-Lox is a palatable, pelleted supplement that supports normal digestive function in all horses. It is an equine antacid with ingredients that buffer gastric acid as well as protect and preserve the stomach lining from continuous exposure to gastric acid. Neigh-Lox is not a cure for ulcers but a way to manage horses with mild to moderate ulceration and to prevent the risk of the condition's return in horses that have already been treated with medication for gastric ulcers. Neigh-Lox also has been proven to aid in the prevention of cribbing behavior. Horses that display signs of moderate gastric ulceration are good candidates for Neigh-Lox. These include horses with poor appetites, sour dispositions, chronic colic or poor body condition. It may also be helpful for horses entering stressful situations such as events and training. One 4oz dose of Neigh-Lox has the capacity to buffer for a long period of time (6-8 hours).
